Andrew Macara (1944-) N.E.A.C.

Andrew Macara was born in Derbyshire in 1944. He is a self taught artist , although he had a period under Leonard Fuller at the St Ives school of Painting. 

Macara was elected a member of the Royal Society of British Artists in 1981. In 1984 he was elected to the New English art club. 

Macara has a distinct figurative style . This style has made him sought after for collectors and his work is seen as a great investment.
